Established in 1971, The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators is nationally and internationally recognized as the pre-eminent business valuation organization in Canada.

The Institute develops and promotes high professional standards governing a membership of more than 1,200 professionals who provide expertise in the areas of securities valuation, compliance, disputes and corporate finance.

Chartered Business Valuators (CBVs)

CBVs are experts who quantify the worth of all, or part, of a business or its securities with the ability to determine the value of tangible and intangible assets, including brand and intellectual property, and then explain their analysis in an easy to understand manner.
