Jeannine Brooks, MBA, CAE, FCGA, is the President & CEO of the Institute, providing leadership for the Institute, setting the tone and direction of the Institute and is responsible for the conduct of the affairs of the Institute in accordance of its By-laws, the Board policies, strategies and decisions. Jeannine ensures the Institute is run in a cost effective and efficient manner; she is responsible to meet the Members’ needs; and represents the interest of the Institute, externally to key stakeholders through media and contacts with national and international organizations involved in or interested in the business valuation profession; and internally to the Board of Directors and the broader membership. 

 


  
 
 

Bob Boulton joined the Institute’s staff and was appointed its first Director of Professional Affairs in March 2007. Bob holds the CA and CBV designations and for the 12 years prior to his appointment practiced exclusively in the areas of business valuations and related expert services. His responsibilities include supporting the initiatives of the Institute’s Board of Directors and providing technical support to the Professional Practice Committee and its various sub-committees and task forces, the Conduct & Discipline Committee and the Education & Continuing Education Committee. Bob coordinates the development and amendment of the Institute’s Practice Standards, Practice Bulletins and Code of Ethics; monitors and advises on matters that may affect the valuation profession; and provides support to Members and Registered Students on questions regarding technical and ethical matters.


 
 

Isabel Natale has been with the Institute since Janaury 2010. She is responsible for providing support and answering all Student inquiries. She liaises with the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, York University to coordinate course registrations and update course materials.

 


  
 

Lauren Kirshner is the part-time External Relations Coordinator, and is responsible for researching, writing, and editing external communications and facilitating media requests. In additon, she is responsible for developing the university visits program. She also asists with the CICBV publications, The Business Valuator, and The Journal of Business Valuation, in an editorial role. 


 
 
Deborah Pelle joined the Institute in January 2006 and holds the dual position of Executive Assistant to the President & CEO and Events Manager.  In her role as EA, she supports the initiatives and operations of the President’s office as well as the Institute’s Board of Directors.  Deborah is responsible for supporting the following Committees: Accreditation (specifically the MEE), International, Strategic Planning, Continuing Education and Events.  In her role as Events Manager, Deborah is responsible for the administration of the Institute’s National and Regional Conferences as well as the development/administration of seminars and webinars.

 
  Judith A. Roth joined the Institute in June of 2005 and is currently the IT & Member Services Manager for the Institute. She supports the Research Institute Committee and the Gateway Task Force and is the liaison with IT providers. She is responsible for providing support to Members in regards to Membership dues and Continuing education. In addition, she is responsible for the Institute’s website, database, technology, surveys, Members and Students statistics, and to support the staff with technology issues.
 

 


 
Jennifer Warlow joined the CICBV in August 2007 as Acting Program Coordinator, and is now in the role of Communications Manager. She is responsible for communicating Institute activities and developments in the field of business valuation to members and students, via newsletters, professional publications, and the website. She supports the initiatives of both the Communications and Awards Committees.  She also organizes regional workshop events and coordinates course content updates.
