Denys Goulet, CBV

 

Denys leads the business valuation and litigation practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Quebec City. He works on a regular basis with most of the major law firms and also provides valuation and strategic advice to clients dealing with business transactions.

He began his career in the financial system where he went from conventional banking to specialized financing. He has been working in the financial advisory area for more than twenty years. He carried out and coordinated a few hundred business valuation assignments and financial appraisals for fiscal, financial reorganization, litigation as well as transaction purposes.

He prepared a wide variety of expert reports presented in Court. The Superior Court recognized his expertise in the fields of Business valuation, Finance, Business financing and Quantification of financial damages (economic loss). He was even selected as the Court’s expert under sections 414 and the following of the Code of Civil Procedures.

Denys chaired the 2001 Eastern regional conference and the 2008 National conference of the CICBV. He currently chairs a Board Committee and sits in various other committee of the Institute.
