Eleanor M. Joy, CA, CBV

Eleanor is both a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator and is an Associate Partner in Consulting & Deals in the Vancouver office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She has specialized in Dispute Analysis and Valuations since 1986. Eleanor's valuation and advisory experience includes both public and privately held companies. She has conducted assignments in industry sectors including forest and paper, information technology, consumer and packaged goods, real estate, and the service sector. Eleanor has extensive experience in the Forest and Paper industry, working on assignments involving pulp mills, sawmilling operations and timber cutting rights, as well as integrated forest companies. Eleanor has assisted numerous clients in the quantification of their claims. She has also prepared experts’ reports and critiques of other experts’ reports. Eleanor has testified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and at a number of arbitration hearings. Eleanor was the recipient of the Association of Women in Finance 2009 PEAK Award for Knowledge & Leadership.
