Richard is a Senior Manager in the Valuation Services group of Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice. Richard specializes in preparing valuations for both private and public companies in connection with financial reporting, income tax, related party transactions, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation support.

Richard has also prepared expert reports pursuant to the quantification of damages for the purposes of opinion evidence, and advised clients in the context of mergers & acquisitions, including the provision of fairness opinions and board advisory services.

Richard’s expertise includes acting as lead project manager of large, complex, and multi-jurisdictional financial advisory projects, with specific experience in providing valuations for manufacturing, consumer, and technology-based businesses, including the valuation of related intangible assets.

Richard has delivered presentations to various constituent groups on the topics of business and intellectual property valuation, IFRS, accounting, and board advisory.
